Being a resident of Houston I am glad the new Bayport terminal will get its first real action. I would hope that Carnival's use of the new state of the art port would entice other cruise lines as well as Carnival to use Bayport more. This would have been our 3rd Carnival cruise out of Galveston. It will now be our 1st Carnival cruise out of Houston. We have confidence that whatever Carnival decides to do with the Galveston port will be accommodating and pleasant. Please, everyone, just try to be patient and understanding. There are no easy decisions in cases like these. We are booked to leave on September 28th and I am looking forward to our cruise and the drive down from Kansas.
